    January 21st, 2009

As well as supporting Amazon S3, GMail, email-to-cloud, Box.net, XDrive, we now support Mosso Cloud Files also !

Once you register you will need to enter your username and access key. You can choose to store these (they are encrypted) or you can enter them each time you use the service.

You can then use the smestorage platform to upload / download files and also use our access channels and tools to access your files.

    SMEStorage now supports Euro Buckets

    January 21st, 2009

If you are using SMEStorage with your own Amazon S3 keys from our OpenS3 beta programme, you can now create new buckets that are located in Europe as we now support the Amazon European bucket functionality.

To do this do as follows:

Step one: Go to MyAccount - > MyProviders

    EuroBucket1

Step two: Choose to syncrhonize your S3 Account

    EuroBucket2

Step three: Add the checkbox for ‘European Bucket’

    EuroBucket2

Remember: You will need to add this bucket to you account (using “manage additional buckets” link) to be able to use it. Also if you want this as the default bucket you will also need to change it using the “default bucket” link.

This is useful if you reside in Europe as the latency should be less for uploads and download, and also if you have documents or files that should not cross country borders.
